Hi I’m Diviya, and welcome to my blog!
I am an 18-year-old public speaker, leader, and social activist who is working to make a positive impact in the world around me. I am incredibly passionate about ending gender inequality, and advocating for greater attention to be placed on issues pertaining to women’s rights. Since the age of 12, I have been an ambassador for Plan International Canada’s Because I am a Girl initiative that is working to empower girls here in Canada and in developing countries globally. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to travel to different countries, engage with like-minded youth, and share my passion through giving speeches and leading a Champions of Change Club at my high school. This blog is an outlet for me to express my thoughts, opinions, and ideas about world issues and current events. I hope that my words will help to inspire you to get involved in your community and take action to make our world a better place!
